Serving over 500,000 Albertans, these organizations contribute immensely without the burden of rent, paying only for their share of operating costs — a setup that saves them up to 50% in operational expenses.

Our findings suggest that a rooftop solar system could cover 100% of the Centre’s annual electricity needs. This would further decrease operating costs and eliminate up to 148 metric tons of CO2 electricity grid emissions annually.

We’re excited about the potential savings and environmental benefits this project could bring to the Jerry Forbes Centre, its nonprofits, and the Albertans they serve.
